Leave Setting

Leave Setting is used for converting leave units and setting leave expiration reminders.

2. Function Feature

2.1. Leave Unit Conversion

Remark:

  • Display the current leave unit.

  • Can only be [Day] or [Hour].

  • The leave unit can only be changed by the conversion operation.

2.1.1. Conversion Ratio

  • Default 1:8 ratio conversion

  • Fixed to [1 day: N hours], only N can be modified.

  • Convert according to the filled N value.

    • e.g. the current unit is an hour, manually release 8 hours of leave, N is 9, "1 day: 9 hours". When conversion begins, the system will convert to days, 8/9 = 0.889 days, and the leave balance will increase by 0.889 days. The second conversion, according to "1 day: 9 hours", converting days into hours, that is, 0.889*9 = 8.00 hours, the user added 8 hours of leave.

2.1.2. Begin Convert

  • Converting leave units can only be done from "days" to "hours" or vice versa.

  • The conversion button is dynamic. (e.g. the current unit is "day", the button will be [Start conversion (day -> hour)].)

2.2. Conversion Log

Record the type, ratio, operator, and time of operation for each conversion.

2.2.1. Conversion process

Record the type of conversion, A converts B, then B is the converted leave unit

2.2.2. Ratio

The ratio of the conversion, the value of [days] is fixed at 1

2.2.3. Creator

The person who executes the conversion.

2.2.4. Conversion Time

A record of when the conversion occurred.

2.3. Leave Expiration Reminder Setting

Remark:

  • If a reminder is set for N days before expiration and the reminder method is determined in [Setting]-[Reminder]-[Reminder of overdue holiday balance], the user will receive an expiration reminder at 9:00 am on the day of the set expiration reminder period to avoid wastage of the leave balance.

  • e.g.: the expiration time is 12/06/2020, 5 days before the expiration date. Through IM, user will receive a message at 9:00 am, 07/06/2020, to remind them that their leave is about to expire.
